Alphabet Atc Swap

My friend Karen hosts an Alphabet Atc swap. I decided on M for Man and used paper artsy stamps on mulberry paper. For N i decided to use this nude image, again using paper artsy stamps. I clear embossed the image and mounted it on an atc which i had edged with dusky red lace.

Worship Atc's

My friend Gillian hosts an atc swap, and this months theme is worship. These are the atc's i've made using cherry pie and inkadinkado stamps , and colorbox inks.

Wednesday Stamper

This is my first contribution for Wednesday Stamper. It was a very last minute decision to do it, and my first three attempts went in the bin, then i noticed that the FDL would make a fab crown and it got me thinking in a new direction ! I really enjoyed making this -and i got to play with my new toy -my dymo! I used Paper Artsy stamps and colorbox inks.

Hollywood Stars Atc's

My friend Gillian hosted a Hollywood Stars atc swap.I made these atc's using a photo stamp of Rita Hayworth. i used colorbox chalk inks to create the background and ranger archival for the main image. I wanted to create three different looks using the one stamp.

Face Tag

I made this tag for a swap hosted by Gillian. I used colorbox chalk inks rouge and warm red. the stamps are paper artsy and cherry pie.

Bookmark

This is a Bookmark i have made for a swap i am hosting. The theme is books so i chose "just william" as this stamped image reminds me of a mischevious school boy! I added little bows to the ribbon on the bottom, to replicate the bows on the kite.ting.

Altered Items

my friend karen recently hosted an altered item swap. she kindly provied us with a note book, a cd and a wooden jigsaw.

this is the note book which i decorated with Tim Holtz papers, which i love.

This is the cd which i altered using alcohol inks. i used alphabet stickers to create the words, i then covered the whole disk in black versafine ink. i removed the stickers which allowed the alcohol inks to show through, i then coated the cd with clear embossing powder to create an enamelled effect. the words are lyrics from GreenDays "Time of your life".

This is the domino, i altered it using images from HOTP and edged it with a thick coat of pearlescent acrylic medium. i added a metal charm to each side.

i really enjoyed this swap kaz - thanks so much x x

this is the result, green love lol

inches

my forum friend joanne hosts a monthly inches swap.

this months theme is "letters".

i decided to make "red letters" using colorbox chalk inks rouge and warm red , and distress ink fired brick.

My First Post

well, this is it. my first post in my blog.
ive got no idea what i'm doing or even why i am doing it. i'm not sure ive ever created anything blog worthy, but i have created things i feel proud of, and so this is where i will begin. my first proud creation which i made for my forum friend joanne. i altered a cd using alcohol inks, gloss card, paper artsy stamps and a variety of vintage buttons curtesy of my mum. i chose "buttons" as the theme as i heard she kinda liked them lol

i created a case for the cd, as it was too bulky to fit in standard cd box, again i used alcohol inks on gloss card.

i added eyelets and gold thread, and hey-presto! the finished artical . it wasnt perfect but i think that added to its charm lol. thats my excuse and i'm sticking to it !
