Wednesday Stamper.
I have made this card as my submission to Wednesday Stamper. I coloured the card using colorbox inks and created the chequer board effect - as seen on police uniform - by cuttting squares from a sheet of foam. I added the antique brads as they reminded me of old fashioned buttons. The stamp is from The Queens Dresser Drawers.
So Many Cowboy's.....
.....so little rope!! I made this card for a design challenge using a template. Having never used a template before i really struggled with were to start , and my inspiration came in the form of a little bottle of Copper coloured paint! I found this image on art-e-zine and colour toned it using colorbox inks and splatters of copper paint, I then applied a layer of glaze. I created a distressed background using alcohol inks and leaving large areas of blank card which i coloured again using colorbox inks. I used an old paintbrush to apply splatters of copper paint to the whole surface. The copper wire across the card is from inside an electrical flex.
Tag Book.
I have made this Tag Book for a forum swap. The theme was open to personal choice , and we were to use a variety of embelishments and colours. I have used no stamps in creating this , choosing to use images from art-e-zine instead. The background was made using alcohol inks.

For my Mum.

I chose to use these colours as they are her favourite colour range. The stamp is from Inkadinkado, the inks are colorbox.

DCM Challenge.
Ive made this card for Lana's Birthday, and as its my first attempt at heat embossing on a card ive decided to submit it to Daring Cardmakers, as this week's challenge is Embossing. For this card i used alcohol inks on glossy cardstock to create the background. I stamped the image on white card using versamark, I then applied black embossing powder and heat set. I cut the image out and coloured with Perfect Pearls which i had mixed with water. I then stamped the image again on the purple alcohol inked background using black Brilliance ink to which I applied clear embossing powder and heat set. I overlayed the image and attached with adhesive. This is my first submission to Daring Cardmakers.
